One job posting, one resume, nothing made up. Resume Tailor Optimizer reads both, shows you exactly which requirements you cover — with the quote from your resume that proves it — lists what's honestly missing, and rewrites your resume for that specific job. It is instructed never to invent a fact, and the verbatim quotes let you verify every match.

How it works

  1. Paste the job description and your resume as plain text.
  2. The coverage report pairs every matched keyword with verbatim evidence from your resume, so you can check every claim in seconds.
  3. The gap list says what's missing and what evidence would look like — it never writes fake experience for you.
  4. The rewritten resume reorders, rewords and re-emphasises your real experience. Every employer, date and number is unchanged.

Why "zero fabrication" matters

Hiring managers verify. A polished resume that invents a metric or a tool collapses in the first technical interview. This tool makes you sound like the best honest version of you — gaps and all — because that's the version that survives the process.

What it won't do

It won't write a resume from scratch, fill experience gaps "for the interview", or touch your contact details. It works with plain text — copy your resume out of PDF/DOCX first.

Questions

Will the rewritten resume contain anything not in my original?

It is instructed not to. Reordering, rewording and re-emphasising are all it is allowed to do: every employer, date, title and number must come from your resume unchanged. Each covered requirement comes with a verbatim quote from your resume, so you can check — and if something in the rewrite isn't yours, leave it out.

What are the "gaps" for?

They're the requirements in the job description that your resume doesn't demonstrate. Each gap comes with a hint about what evidence would look like, so you know whether it's a real gap or just a wording problem. The tool never suggests lying your way through one.

Can it read my PDF or DOCX?

Not directly — paste the text. Most editors export clean plain text; take a minute to strip headers and columns and you'll get a much better result.

How much can I change before it stops being "my" resume?

As much rewording as you like — honesty lives in the facts, not the phrasing. The coverage report's verbatim quotes are there so you can verify nothing drifted.

What happens to my resume text?

It's used to produce your report and stays with your task history.
