Need a passport or visa photo, and the only picture you have is a selfie? Upload it, pick the exact official spec, and get a compliant ID photo — head sized to the rule, background swapped, light balanced — plus a multi-size download pack. No photo studio, no appointment, no guessing.
How it works
- Upload one plain selfie, front-facing, nothing covering your face. Phone photos work; you can even shoot straight from the form on your phone.
- Pick your spec from the library: US passport and visa (2×2 in), UK passport (35×45 mm), Schengen visa, Canada, Japan, Australia, India visa/OCI, or the USMLE/ECFMG exam photo.
- We pre-check the selfie first — angle, headwear, occlusion, lighting, resolution. If it can't pass an official form, we tell you exactly why and how to retake it, and the run is free.
- Your photo is cut out, composed to the spec's head-height band, background-swapped to the required colour and light-balanced — then delivered as a multi-size pack you can download.
What you get
- The official size, exactly. A clean ID photo at the spec's exact pixel size — 600×600 for 2×2 in specs, 413×531 for 35×45 mm, 591×827 for Canada's 50×70 mm.
- A small copy for online forms with tight file-size limits.
- A 4×6 print sheet with the photo tiled several times: print it at any photo kiosk at 4×6 inches and each tile comes out at the official size, ready to cut.
- Honest labels, not fine print. Every download carries a "Made with AI" note and a line we won't remove: final acceptance is always determined by the issuing authority — check their current photo rules.
Specs come from a library, not a guess
Every dimension, head-height band, background colour and resolution in this tool comes from a versioned spec library entered from official published requirements — the US State Department, HMPO for the UK, IRCC for Canada, Japan's MOFA, DFAT for Australia, India's visa portal, ECFMG for USMLE. We never invent a size, never "round up" a spec, and never approximate one that isn't listed. If your use case isn't in the library, it isn't offered as a choice — the tool won't hand you a photo that fails the form. Official rules drift; library entries are re-checked and versioned when they change.
Refused beats rejected
A photo that can't pass the form shouldn't pass the tool. If your selfie is angled, if a hat or hand covers the face, if the light is too dark or the resolution too low, the pre-check refuses the upload, names the problem in plain words and gives you one concrete retake tip. Refused pre-checks are never charged — you only pay for a delivered photo. Want to tweak the crop or the light? Adjust and run again.
Your face is not our data
This is pure image editing — crop, background, light. No face recognition, no identity matching, no face templates, no face database, nothing to match you against. Your selfie and the finished pack are kept for 30 days so you can download them, then deleted automatically. Don't upload anyone's photo without their OK.
What we deliberately don't do
- No suit or clothing replacement. What you wore in the selfie is what you wear in the photo — wear a plain top when you shoot. Faking formal wear in an official document edges toward misrepresentation, so we don't.
- No guarantee of acceptance. We follow the published specs faithfully, but the accepting authority always has the final word.
- No custom sizes. Exactness is the product; a near-enough crop gets forms rejected.
Shooting tips for a first-pass photo
Keep your eyes level with the lens — shoot at face height, not from a desk. Face a window; shadows across the face are the top rejection reason after headwear. Neutral expression, mouth closed, glasses off if they glare. Plain top, plain background, and look straight into the camera.
