Stack Tower — Free One-Tap Tower Stacking Game

Stack Tower is a free browser game about one deceptively simple action: a block slides back and forth across the top of your tower, you tap once to drop it, and whatever hangs over the edge is sliced off. The next block is only as wide as what you kept. Miss completely and the run ends.

How to play

  • One tap to stack. Click, touch, or press Space at the right moment.
  • Slices are real. Overhang is cut away — the tower gets narrower with every sloppy drop.
  • Perfect drops snap back. Land within a hair of aligned and the block keeps its full size. Chain five perfects for bonus points.
  • It speeds up. Every floor you add makes the next block a little faster.

Modes

  • Standard — an endless tower from a fresh seed every run.
  • Daily challenge — the same tower for everyone, changing at 00:00 UTC.
  • Challenge codes — finish a run, copy your result text, and a friend can enter your ATG1-ST-... code to play the exact same tower from the base up.

Saves and scores

Your best tower (floors, then points, then best perfect streak) saves automatically on this device. Sign in to keep it across devices — the game itself is completely free, with no energy limits, ads or paywalls. A run in progress survives a refresh: come back and continue from where you stopped.

Good to know

  • Works with mouse, touch and keyboard on desktop and mobile.
  • Sound and reduced-motion settings are respected and remembered.
  • No account needed to play; challenge results are friendly self-reported scores, not certified rankings.

Questions

Is Stack Tower free?

Yes. It's a pure browser game with no tool calls or credits, no energy system, no ads and no paywalls. Signing in is optional and only syncs your best scores across devices.

How does scoring work?

Every successful floor is worth 1 point, a perfect drop adds 1 more, and every 5 perfects in a row add a 3-point bonus. Best runs are ranked by floors first, then points, then your longest perfect streak.

What counts as a perfect drop?

If the block's center lands within a small tolerance (3 units out of a 320-unit base) of the block below, it snaps to the full size instead of being sliced. Watch for the bright edge flash.

What is a challenge code?

After a run you can show a result text like Stack Tower · 27 floors · 43 points · ... · ATG1-ST-r1-c1-s42. The code at the end replays the exact same tower — same block sizes, speeds and movement pattern — for anyone who enters it. Codes are for friendly challenges; scores are self-reported, not certified rankings.

What is the daily challenge?

One tower per day, the same for everyone, chosen by the UTC date and changing at 00:00 UTC. You can retry it as often as you like; only your best daily run is kept.

Where is my progress saved?

On this device in your browser. Sign in and your best tower and daily records also sync to your account. A run in progress survives closing or refreshing the page — you'll be offered to continue it.

Does the game work on phones?

Yes. One tap drops the block; everything including the daily and challenge codes works on touch. Full screen is available through the host page when offered.

Can I play offline or without sound?

The game loads once with the page and then runs locally. Sound can be turned off and reduced motion is supported in settings — both are remembered.
