Pocket Mini Golf — Free Browser Mini Golf Game

Pocket Mini Golf is a top-down putting game: drag away from your ball, release, and it flies the opposite way. Bank shots off walls, sneak through gaps, cross bridges over water, and putt in before the 12-stroke limit.

Three courses, 18 original holes

  • Course 1 · Open Meadow — straight shots, power control, first banks.
  • Course 2 · Bank Shots — wall rebounds, narrow gaps, bumpers, slalom.
  • Course 3 · Hazard Island — water penalties, sand traps and combinations.

Every hole ships with a reference line played by the game's actual physics engine and verified to finish within the stroke limit — no impossible layouts.

Real physics, fair rules

  • Drag distance is power; direction is opposite your drag. Keyboard aiming also works.
  • Balls bounce with restitution 0.78, slow down on grass, crawl through sand, and must be moving slowly to drop into the cup.
  • Water or out of bounds costs one penalty stroke and returns the ball to where you played from.
  • 12 strokes per hole maximum; going over scores X, which counts as 15 on the card. Retrying a hole is allowed and marks the round accordingly.

Daily six & challenges

A daily six-hole selection — two holes from each course — rotates at 00:00 UTC for everyone. Finish any round and copy a result text with a challenge code (ATG1-MG-r1-c1-p1 for a course, -s42 for a seeded six) so a friend can play the exact same holes.

Questions

How do I hit the ball?

Press near the ball and drag away from where you want it to go — the ball flies opposite your drag. The farther you drag, the harder it flies. Release to shoot; drag only a tiny bit to cancel. Keyboard players can aim with the arrow keys and shoot with Space.

Why didn't the ball go in?

The cup only captures a ball that arrives slowly. A hard shot skips right over the hole. Try arriving with less speed, or bank the ball so it loses energy on the walls.

What happens in water or out of bounds?

The stroke you played counts, plus one penalty stroke, and the ball returns to where you played that stroke from. So a first stroke into water leaves you playing your second stroke.

What is X on the scorecard?

Each hole allows up to 12 strokes. If you haven't holed by then, the hole is scored X and counts as 15 strokes toward your round total, so an unfinished hole never looks better than a finished one.

What is the daily six?

Six holes — two from each course — chosen by the UTC date, the same for everyone, rotating at 00:00 UTC. You can retry it as often as you like.

What are challenge codes?

After a round you can copy a result text like Pocket Mini Golf · Course 1 · 24 strokes (+3) · 6/6 holed · No retries · ATG1-MG-r1-c1-p1. The code at the end replays the same course (p1–p3) or a seeded six-hole selection (s…). Scores are self-reported for friendly play, not certified rankings.

Are the holes all beatable?

Yes — every hole ships with a reference line played by the same physics engine the game uses, verified to hole out within the 12-stroke limit.
