Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy is part of the Knowyx Terms of Service. It applies to subscriptions and credit packs bought on Knowyx. Nothing in it limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

Failed runs are never charged

This is separate from refunds of money. If a tool run fails, times out or its output is blocked by our safety checks, the credits reserved for it are returned automatically. You do not need to ask. A tool may charge a lower "unusable input" price if it cannot process your input; that price is shown on the tool page before you run it and is never more than the normal price.

Cancelling a subscription

• Cancel at any time from your account with "Manage subscription".
• Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep your plan, and continue to receive its credit allocations, until the end of the period you have already paid for. Your account and history are not affected.
• Cancelling is not a refund request. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us as described below.

Refunds

Because credits and subscriptions are delivered immediately and can be used straight away, purchases are generally non-refundable, including for unused credits or the unused part of a subscription period. We do make refunds in these cases:

1. Charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, or a renewal charged after you had cancelled.
2. The Service did not work as described — for example, you could not use what you paid for because of a problem on our side that we could not fix within a reasonable time.
3. We close your account or end the Service without you having broken the Terms — we refund unused purchased credits and the unused part of any prepaid subscription period.
4. We reduce what a paid plan includes during a period you have paid for, where the law requires a refund.
5. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, including the rights below.

EU, EEA, UK and Swiss consumers — right of withdrawal

You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract for digital content or services. When you buy credits or a subscription, we ask you to agree that we start immediately and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once we do. If you give that consent:

• for credit packs, the right of withdrawal ends once the credits are added to your account;
• for subscriptions, the right of withdrawal ends once the subscription starts.

If you did not give that consent, you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase by contacting us. For subscriptions we will refund the amount paid minus a proportionate amount for the period you used.

Your statutory rights for digital content that is faulty or not as described are not affected.

Other countries

Where your local law gives you additional refund or cancellation rights (for example, under consumer protection or automatic-renewal laws), we honour them.

How to ask for a refund

Email support@knowyx.com from your account email address within [[30]] days of the charge, with the date, amount and order or receipt number, and the reason. Do not send card details.

Purchases are processed by the seller of record shown at checkout through Stripe's Managed Payments service, which may also handle your request directly under its own terms. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

When a purchase is refunded, the credits granted by it are removed from your account; credits you have already spent may result in a negative balance that is settled by future credits.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, we may suspend your account while the dispute is open. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved faster that way.
